The Lions team to tackle Griquas in Kimberley has been announced, with Currie Cup coach of the month Johan Ackermann making a few changes, one of which has been enforced by another Springbok call up.
All the changes take place in the backline, where Lionel Mapoe has been called up to the Springbok squad, and even though he will not take part this weekend, he is still unavailable for the week, and Deon van Rensburg will take his spot at outside centre.
Alwyn Hollenbach is available again after his injury, and comes straight into the starting lineup at inside centre, dropping Dylan Des Fountain to the bench. The last change sees Ross Cronje get a start at scrumhalf, replacing the injured Michael Bondesio.
Lions: 15 Andries Coetzee, 14 Deon Helberg, 13 Deon van Rensburg, 12 Alwyn Hollenbach, 11 Ruan Combrinck, 10 Butch James, 9 Ross Cronje, 8 Warren Whiteley, 7 Jaco Kriel, 6 Cobus Grobbelaar, 5 Franco van der Merwe, 4 Michael Rhodes, 3 Jacobie Adriaanse, 2 Callie Visagie, 1 JC Janse van Rensburg (captain)
Substitutes: 16 Bandise Maku, 17 Caylib Oosthuizen, 18 Willie Britz, 19 Derick Minnie, 20 Guy Cronje, 21 Dylan Des Fountain, 22 James Kamana

Nice to see one of the Cronje brothers getting a start.
I see Derick Mienie is back as well.
And the other Cronje on the bench. Good to see! Especially Guy has been unlucky with injuries.
So are the cronje brothers staying or leaving JHB?
So far the Cronje twins will stay, Minnie also extended his contract until 2014
@Mutley (Comment 5) :
Andries Coetzee also signs 2 years contract . Wont be loaned out it seems
@Zibbie (Comment 6) :
Where did you hear that? If it’s true that would be fantastic news.
