According to Beeld and Sport24, six Bulls players were forced to miss training on Monday, due to a variety of niggles picked up against the Lions over the weekend.
Flankers Dewald and Jacques Potgieter were among them, suffering from shoulder and groin issues respectively, while flyhalf Louis Fouche and lock Flip van der Merwe are also battling various shoulder complaints. Akona Ndungane is struggling with muscle stiffness, while Francois Hougaard has a bruised foot.
Team doctor Org Strauss expects that all three will return to training today, but that apparently doesn’t mean that all six will necessarily be fit in time for Saturday’s semi-final; captain Dewald Potgieter and Fouche are apparently the two in greatest doubt at this stage.
The Bulls team will be named tomorrow.

This is the battle for the underdog tag!
Fouche far from a rugby field can only be a good thing, youngster really need to see that there are better 10 than that useless excuse of a rugby player
@Ludz (Comment 2) : it’s a huge compliment that I even call him a rugby player. A rugby kicker is a much more appropriate term
Come on guys, after the trouncing dished out by the superior Bulls side this past weekend, they might as well just send Heini to come and collect their win in Durban and rather rest their guys for the final. 😈
They desperately want to be the underdogs… Just like the first game at Loftus a couple of weeks ago… “They couldn’t train that whole week because every single player was “sick”…”
If bulls are sore and stiff now just think how they will feel after Beast, Alberts, Deysel, Marcell, etc is done with them!
