Today we’re really pleased to announce that we’re playing a small part in a fantastic initiative dreamed up by our friend Marky Warren over at Pharside UK.
Marky, who is based in the UK, is flying back to South Africa tonight to attend the Currie Cup Final on Saturday in Durban and thanks to his generosity, along with generous contributions from a number of other donors, no fewer that 46 children from LIV Village will be attending the game with him.
I’ll not repeat the whole story about exactly how and why this came about (you can read all of those details here), but am very proud that we, as Sharksworld, can play a part in making this happen, by sponsoring tickets for five of the children.
A big thanks to Marky, Carita from LIV Village, the Sharks and all the other donors for making this happen. Let’s hope that we’re able to give these kids a truly remarkable day out that they’ll remember for the rest of their lives.

Fantastic Work, SW! 😀
Well done
Great stuff 😎
Nice one Rob 😎
Very nice!
Awesome.
Anything we can do to help?
Great work all involved. Proud of you all.
I would love to donate the money for a ticket if possible?
you guys are great! The strange thing is, we actually don’t have enough kids for all the people that want to donate 🙂
Marky wants to turn this into an ongoing initiative, though and we will definitely need LOTS of sponsors to make that work!
