Etienne Oosthuizen, the 19 year old Lions lock who has signed with the Brumbies, has arrived in Canberra to join up with his new team ahead of the 2013 Super Rugby season. reports that Oosthuizen has set his sight on firstly, becoming a regular in the Brumbies line-up, but his biggest goal is to represent the Wallabies.

Oosthuizen has made it clear that the move to Australia is a long term one, and that he intends to stay as long as a rugby team wants him, and that he wants to represent the country at the highest level.

The Brumbies coach saw his players into pre-season training, being quoted that he was happy with the fitness of the players, as they were given their own individual programs to follow before training started, adding that he felt they were not this fit at the same time last year.

The Brumbies led the Australian conference for most of the 2012 season, losing in the final weekend to the Reds, who made a fantastic comeback to reach the playoffs. White will be hoping his young team can improve on their spot from last year and push for higher honours.
