The Golden Lions Rugby Union (GLRU) has decided to advertise the position of head coach, currently being held in the interim by Johan Ackermann, in search of a coach to take the helm for the 2013 season.
Rugby365.com reports that even though Ackermann was expected to get the job, there might be some competition for the position after the Union decided to advertise the position over the coming weeks.
Ackermann replaced John Mitchell after a player revolt that led to Mitchell being dumped, along with his assistants Carlos Spencer and Wayne Taylor. Mitchell is currently with the Sale Sharks in the English Premiership, and is expected to take a full time position with the club.
It is understood that Carlos Spencer has been appointed ‘specialist coach’ at Hoërskool Rustenburg.

What, you are joking about Carlos?
LOL… nothing about this in the local Newspaper…

@SharksRTB (Comment 2) :
It was on twitter last night – battling to get confirmation though
@Richard Ferguson (Comment 3) : I’ll ask a couple of the guys at the School if they can confirm anything
Would love Carlos to coach our backline at the Sharks. Need a lineout and mental coach as well and we should be close to invincible.
I’ll send in my reseme right away!
Can I do any worse?
At least with me, no one will expect anything.
And who knows right!
😀
I guess it would be asking to much for Hans Mors to consider getting Carlos involved.
