Francois Louw looks set to take full part in South Africa’s End of year tour matches, after the injury he sustained over the weekend was not as bad as first expected.
Beeld reports that Louw will be ready to face Ireland, Scotland and England according to Bath Director of Rugby, Gary Gold, who was quoted as saying that Louw’s neck was stiff after the match, but that the initial fear of vertebrae damage was indeed not the case.
Gold also indicated that he would reduce Louw’s workload during Bath’s match against London Welsh this weekend, so that Louw can recover and take full part in the Springboks’ tour.
Louw’s injury sparked fears that the Springboks would field an unbalanced loose trio, but Heyneke Meyer can rest easy that one of the stand out players of the Springbok season will be available for selection.

Great news, I was worried about this injury!
Relieved! Brussouw really needs to find his way back into Meyer’s good graces. Perhaps a pair of platform rugby boots are in order?
