Australian trouble maker Quade Cooper has been found guilty of a breach of ARU Code of Conduct, for which he has been fined $60 000 and given a three match ban.

Cooper has been found in breach of the Code of Conduct in respect of his twitter and media comments in September and was fined $10 000 just for the adverse tweet, and a further $50 000 for comments about the ARU and the Australian team.

His fine was reduced by $20 000 as a result of the amount being suspended for the following two years, along with his three match ban, meaning that if the player is found guilty of bringing the game into disrepute again within the following 2 years, the $20 000 fine and three match ban will automatically take effect.
