awesome. The Sharks’s first game coincides perfectly with my first meeting of the day.
Go Vikings!!!! 😆
@Viking (Comment 2) : LOL. How long have you been waiting to be able to say that? 🙂
ok, so please can someone tell me who the hell NBM are and what they do?
Hi Rob go look for NBM Group. They’re a SA company open since 90’s.
wow…. dunno if anyone is watching Kaizer Chiefs. LEt’s just say I’m glad Mjekevu isn’t playing for the Sharks
@robdylan (Comment 6) : Even though he set up 2 tries and beat the Lions?
Very poor call, yellow card to the Sharks.
Mzo Mbona wins it with a hattrick, in injury time. WP 22, sharks 24
nail-biter as Sharks win against WP at the death.
@Seth101 (Comment 8) : it was a shocking call
@Seth101 (Comment 7) : admit I was only half watching, but he looked to drop the ball every time he got it
That Province team looks dangerous. I think we did well to beat them.
@robdylan (Comment 12) : He was unlucky at times with strong defense on him and also guilty of trying to many tricky off loads, but ran very well with strong lines into the gaps and good long passes to set up to tries.
Raymond Rhule costs a try by trying to run from behind his try line, NBM All Stars lead the Cheetahs 7-5
Cheetahs go down to the All Stars, after the lines man makes a bad call on a corner try from the Cheetahs, All Stars 19, Cheetahs 12
Interesting McCaw has won NZ player of the year after carter won World player of the year 😕
Kavaliers have dominated the Vikings, 35-14
Jesse Kriel has done very little to impress for the Bulls
Bulls take down the Mohicans, 35-12
bugger – the feed just dies. Guess that’s no more 7s for me
@robdylan (Comment 21) : Not missing much, Sharks not playing well, Prinsloo is horrible, 3 mins to go, samurai 19 sharks 5, luckily we still lead the pool
Sharks getting a spank from Samurai…. 5-19 ATM
Sharks ruin a chance on the 5m, under a min left
Final score, Samurai 19, Sharks 12, after about 3 mins injury time.
Chiefs are playing brilliant rugby, dominating possession against living ball.
Try Breyton Paulse, after setting up a try with a superb chip kick, he has cart wheeled over the try line to score one of his own
So much for this bring through youngsters, all its doing is showing how good the old timers are 😀
I guess we want WP to beat the Lions
Chiefs 33, living ball 19
@robdylan (Comment 29) : Very much so, keep as at the top of the pool.
Right now, lions 14, WP 0, putting lions top
Lions now lead the pool after beating WP, 40-5
@Seth101 (Comment 33) : that’s not good.
I’m worried Chiefs are going to PK us if we don’t play a million times better
@robdylan (Comment 34) : We either have to thump chiefs or hope the Lions get thumped. And there’s not much chance of either, the third option is we win and lions lose, which is most likely, and our best chance.
@robdylan (Comment 34) : we are 29 points behind on PD, so we have to win and hope the lions lose
Cheetahs beat the Vikings, 33-0
Bulls Beat Kavaliers, 49-21
Samurai Beat the Lions 31-12, giving the sharks the ability to finish to of the pool if the beat the chiefs
Chiefs get double yellow cards, playing with 5 men
Sharks have been lucky enough to top the table after beating the Chiefs 24-21, after the chiefs got two yellow cards.
Living ball beat WP, 38- 0
hey hey…. man, but we didn’t deserve that, did we? Our guys didn’t look like provincial champs…
@Seth101 (Comment 42) : puts our squeaker of a win over WP into perspective, that does
To be fair, non of the provincial teams have looked all that good, its been the Samurai, All starts, and chiefs who have played the best rugby, out of the provinces I would give it to bulls, sharks or cheetahs. Prinsloo is not a sevens player, and he is not helping the sharks by always holding on to the ball.
@Seth101 (Comment 45) : I always thought he was a bit of a strange pick, to be honest. Ditto van Tonder
@robdylan (Comment 46) : Mvovo and jordaan would have been great inclusions to the team.
@robdylan (Comment 46) : Possible move for Habana to Toulon accourding to News 24
@Seth101 (Comment 48) : ja, but a french source, so will believe it when he gets on the plane.
@robdylan (Comment 49) : A sight I frankly wouldn’t mind seeing.
@Seth101 (Comment 50) : me neither
A very good and high spirited chiefs have taken the All stars to extra time after scoring in extra time. But the all stars crushed any chiefs hopes through the speed of ex sharks player, Rosco Specman
The second game of the day has again gone into extra time, with Cheetahs eventually grabbing the win against living ball, 21-14
Sharks have won a pathetic display of rugby, with the commentators right in saying we are playing like its 15 man rugby, and prinsloo making one pass the whole game, sharks win 8-5 against the Kaviliers
Jeez that was awful, although sbura did some nice work in the build-up to Jaco’s try.
Samurai are gonna kill us in the semi though.
Living ball have knocked out Chiefs, beating them 24-12
@robdylan (Comment 55) : The only players trying to play 7s rugby are Sbura and Mzo
Another shocking call has seen the Bulls beat the Kavaliers 22-7 and move through to the play the living ball in the shield final
@Seth101 (Comment 57) : impressed with Milo Nqoro too
Sharks about to lose their semi… down 5-17 against Saumrai with 3 min to go
Bloody useless. 🙄
now 5-22
they’re just looking like they don’t get it
Sharks lose 5-22. Samurai v Cheetahs in the final.
Sharks were lucky to get that far…
The Samurai have knocked out a poor sharks team, 22-5, it will be cheetahs, samurai final
Wow – Robinson has some gas!
wow – Speccers just made Gouws his biaatch there
The Samurai have beaten the Cheetahs to win the 1mill, interesting question asked though, is it fair that they are the only professional 7s team there?
@robdylan (Comment 67) : Prinsloo has never impressed me, all this proves is he can neither play 15 man or 7 man all that well.
