Juandrรจ Kruger will wrap up his career with the Bulls during the Super Rugby season in 2013, after which he will move North to join up with French club Racing Metro.
The Bulls confirmed via a press release that the Springbok lock has not signed a contract extension with the Pretoria based outfit, and that Kruger will join up with his new team after his contract expires in June 2013.
Frans Ludeke implied that the Bulls would have liked to keep the Springbok lock at the franchise but were simply unable to match the offer from the French club.

Think he’s making a misstake going to for the euros, was forming nice bok locking pair with Eben.
@JD (Comment 1) :
You really think so? I havent been much impressed myself, but then he’s from Pretoria so already he starts with a handicap in my eyes…
@VinChainSaw (Comment 2) : I was also not overwhelmed; just not sure that we have much that is better (and please, don’t mention Andries Overhyped Bekker)
Good news for Sprngbok Rugby ! He has been pitiful in some games and only really offers a slightly above average option at line out time. With the emergence of Etzebeth as a strong line out option we really dont need this pretender -harsh but true ๐ฅ
Bresler & Etzebeth or Flip VD ,those should be our locks
And dammit please give me my 4th star , I’ve been behaving ๐ ๐
@Talent (Comment 6) : I’m afraid that’s not going to happen for a while yet. ๐
You are on 8,965 points. You need 10,000 for your next star. You get 5 points per comment and 5 points per daily login. So you need 207 comments. ๐
Racing are looking at strengthening their pack. They have reportedly signed Dan Lydiate and chasing Jamie Roberts.
Should Heynecke select only SA-based players? If so, would it lure players back, or damage the Springboks beyond the possible reward?
@KSA Shark ยฉ (Comment 7) : What on earth do you people do at work ๐ ๐
@Here be dragons (Comment 8) : Don’t pick abroad ,why?
1. Seperates those who want it and those who really want it.
2. If any one thinks the northern hemisphere plays to a standard close to the Southern Hemisphere ,they are retardation ๐ with the exception of some french sides.
3. It strengthens our domestic teams ,which strengthens their structures in the long run.
Meyers is extremely short sighted ๐
PDV ,despite his idiosyncratic personality ,got a helluva lot right.
His player management and fairness ,as a rule ,has been the best among the Springbok coaches I’ve seen.
And despite what common perception may be ,I’d say we were one of the better drilled sides around .
@Talent (Comment 9) : Whilst there are undoubtedly some very good NH sides, I find the HC to be far behind the S15. Having the HC and respective national tournaments running essentially concurrently means that teams often only ‘compete’ in one.
@Talent (Comment 9) : tell me about it I have been waiting for a 4th star myself but seems I have less points than you sigh
