Second and back row really appears to be up for grabs. Can’t wait any longer for rugby!
@Here be dragons (Comment 1) : I reckon second for sure… I think the three guys playing loose forward tonight will need to pull off a miracle to get into the match 22 for the Cheetahs game
Do you think Daniel will struggle for game time this season? He already seems to be being ousted out as captain. He was a superb captain last season so I question that decision.
@The Sharks Sharkie (Comment 3) : nah, definitely not. I don’t think Steyn is ousting him… I think Plum is just trying to find a backup captain to Keegan while Bismarck is out.
I think none of the forwards named in this team will be in the starting xv for the Cheetahs game…things could change a bit in the second row; but i am a big fan of the Durban grown combo of Bresler/J.Marais.
Backline i reckon Frans Styen, Lambie, Jordaan, JPP and Ludik will all start against the cheetahs.
Scrummie, second row and Mvovo Vs Ndungane are the only places not written into stone yet, IMO.
@The Sharks Sharkie (Comment 3) : Keegan Daniel is the 1st name on the Sharks team list for me, build the rest of the loose trio around him
where can i get live updates for the match ???
Go Sharks!!!
Wish I was back in pmb for this, come on sharks!!!!!
@RuckingFun (Comment 9) : That is something that is often said!
@durbsguy (Comment 10) : I’ve watched the sharks play in pmb before and it was awesome because of the small ground and great atmosphere, heaps of us travel down 2 durbs for the games so when they play in pmb it’s pretty cool
Sharks lead 21-3 after 19 min
@Franshark (Comment 12) : Probably not too bad, maybe we’re saving ourselves for the last 30mins…..let’s just hope the ref doesn’t stop the game at the 60th minute π π
Who knows who is scoring what? π
Botes 2nd try
Odwa 3rd
Don’t know first one…
@Franshark (Comment 15) : Pat scored the 1st, 21-3 atm

@RuckingFun (Comment 11) : I’m not mocking it I grew up in hilton I just don’t hear people saying they miss the borough often
Half time 31-3, Mvovo with the 4th try.
31 – 3 the volvo scored #5, Tera scored #4
@durbsguy (Comment 20) : Spent 8 years of school in PMB and if I ever see it again it will be to soon.
Marcell apparently on bench? Going on in 2nd half…
@SteelShark (Comment 17) : Botes’s try was set up by a Tera Mtembu break.
Mtembu also scored a try of his own before half time, 5 tries in a half.
half time score 31-3
Try by ??? and then Steyn. 45-3
Steyn try, 45-3
Botes 2nd try, Bosman is on, he converts.
