The Bulls have managed to retain the services of the promising centre Jan Serfontein ‘for the foreseeable future’. The Blue Bulls Company made the announcement last night, stating that the young centre is happy to stay with the Pretoria based team.

Serfontein’s contract was due to be up at the end of the season, but it was reported that Serfontein made the ‘easy decision’ to stay with the Bulls and try and force his way in the National setup during the year.

Serfontein is widely regarded as the next best thing in the South African midfield, and that it is only a matter of time before he makes his Springbok debut.

  • They said the same about Johann Sadie, but anyway… 😉

Good stuff Bulls. There’s a lot of hype about kids, but this one does seem to be the real deal.
