Clyde Rathbone and Jake White have clearly kissed and made up after the winger was included in the starting line-up of the Brumbies to face the Reds this weekend.

Rathbone and White had a widely publicised spat where Rathbone was quoted as saying that he never wants to play for a team coached by White. This was obviously put to bed as White announced Rathbone as a starter for the Reds clash.

In other team news, David Pocock makes his Brumbies debut after his move from the Force last year, fitting into a strong looking team that will again hope to push for higher honours after falling out of play-off contention in the final week of the regular season last year.

Brumbies: 15. Jesse Mogg, 14. Henry Speight, 13. Andrew Smith, 12. Christian Lealiifano, 11. Clyde Rathbone, 10. Matt Toomua, 9. Nic White, 8. Ben Mowen (Captain), 7. David Pocock, 6. Peter Kimlin, 5. Sam Carter, 4. Scott Fardy, 3. Dan Palmer, 2. Stephen Moore, 1. Ben Alexander.

Replacements: 16. Siliva Siliva, 17. Ruaidhri Murphy, 18. Colby Faingaa, 19. Fotu Auelua, 20. Ian Prior, 21. Joseph Tomane, 22. Robbie Coleman.

  • When was the spat? I’d always understood they had a great relationship?

I thought the reason Clyde didn’t accept Jake’s offer to play in SA was based on Clyde’s reasons for leaving SA.
