The Western Force squad to tour South African has been named, with four Wallabies coming in to strengthen the unit that went down narrowly against the Melboune Rebels last Friday.
The Perth-based team will face the Southern Kings in Port Elizabeth this weekend, before moving on to the highveld for a clash against the Bulls.
Phoenix Battye is the only member of last week’s match 22 who falls out, as he’s replaced by Wallaby Hugh Mcmenamin. The other newcomers are captain Matt Hodgson, Salesi Ma’afu, Nick Cummins and kiwi centre Jayden Hayward.
Western Force squad: Chris Alcock, Richard Brown, Nathan Charles, Sam Christie, Angus Cottrell, Pek Cowan, Nick Cummins, Patrick Dellit, Sias Ebersohn, Tetera Faulkner, Kyle Godwin, Jayden Hayward, Matt Hodgson, Kieran Longbottom, Toby Lynn, Salesi Ma’afu, Alfie Mafi, Alby Mathewson, Ben McCalman, Hugh McMeniman, Junior Rasolea, Mick Snowden, Winston Stanley, Heath Tessmann, Will Tupou, Sam Wykes

This will be one of 2 opportunities for the Kings to win a game. They will be pumped up for the challenge but I do not believe they have what it takes to make this count and after seeing the rebels play this weekend this may be the Kings’ only opportunity this weekend.

@Poisy (Comment 2) : This just might be smallest margin game for the Kings this season. Their fans better sit up and pay attention.
