Stormers coach Allister Coetzee has named an unchanged starting fifteen to take on the Chiefs on Saturday at Newlands.
Elton Jantjies starts in front of the Stormers’ home crowd for the first time, keeping Peter Grant on the bench for another week. His partnership with Nic Groom continues to grow, but whether he takes over the kicking duties, remains to be seen.
On the bench there is a return to action for Tiaan Liebenberg, who replaces Martin Bezuidenhout.
There is still no sign of Jaco Taute or Juan de Jongh through injury, while Schalk Burger remains a long term casualty.
Stormers: 15. Joe Pietersen, 14. Gio Aplon, 13. Jean de Villiers (captain), 12. Damian de Allende, 11. Bryan Habana, 10. Elton Jantjies, 9. Nic Groom, 8. Duane Vermeulen, 7. Rynhardt Elstadt, 6. Siya Kolisi, 5. Andries Bekker, 4. De Kock Steenkamp, 3. Frans Malherbe, 2. Deon Fourie, 1. Steven Kitshoff
Substitutes: 16. Tiaan Liebenberg, 17. Pat Cilliers, 18. Don Armand, 19. Nizaam Carr, 20. Dewaldt Duvenhage, 21. Peter Grant, 22. Gerhard van den Heever

Hmmm, for all the other SA sides sake I hope the Stormers can get a result this saturday . . .
But won`t be placing any bets!
Lovely…
Wel hats off to Coetzee for giving Jantjies a solid run in the 10 Jersey.
Pity about Schalk Burger. He’s been off for too long, getting back into the squad let alone getting his stride back becomes more and more difficult.
I hope Jantjies can play like he did for the first 15min against the Sharks for the whole 80min against the Chiefs.
After that first 15min in which I thought he looked threatening with his runs and kicks, he started making errors and just never got back into the game.
