  • Nice start by the Brokebacks. The key is to impose themselves early on. Something the Sharks neglected last week.

    But after hy sy bek uitgespoel het over how they going to run over Jantjies, outscrum the Stormers. How the Stormers can’t score tries, etc, it was just a very satisfying win. :mrgreen:

    @McLovin (Comment 56) :
    Agree with McMuffin.

    Jake is a phenomenal coach, but his ego tends to run away with him.

    He talked about having taught the Sharks Boks everything they know – which is not just untrue but also pompous, and he did wax lyrical about how they were going to run over Jantjies.

  • @McLovin (Comment 56) : @Big Fish (Comment 57) : Kinda reminds me of when he said “not one player in the Irish team would make his Bok squad” – we all know what happened next. 🙄

    Yeah he sure knows how to inspire the opposition, wish he opened his trap before the Sharks game.

    Sharks just didn’t respond the same way the Stormers did.
