Jamie Joseph has made three changes to the Highlanders team that lost to the Chiefs. Andrew Hore is welcomed  back after a long injury layoff and will come into the starting 15 to captain the team.

Hore is one of two experienced players that will be back for this match, as Tony Woodcock comes into the team replacing Ma’afu Fia who drops to the bench with hooker Liam Coltman.

This good news comes with a bit of bad, after in form winger Kade Poki has been ruled out with a rib injury that will keep him out for two weeks. Buxton Popoalii replaces him in the starting line up.

The Highladers have not had a good run this season after starting of promising in their first match against the Chiefs, before going down convincingly after loose passes and too many errors let them down. Then they suffered their first loss at home against the Cheetahs, from there it all seemed to go down hill.

Injuries have not helped their cause as they still have eight players on their injury list, 3 of which are still to recover from pre-season injuries and 5 added during the season.

They will be looking for their first win this season when they play the Reds in Dunedin this Friday.
