Hurricanes team for Kings match

Andre Taylor and Dane Coles returns to the Hurricanes starting line-up when they take on the Kings for the first time. Coles returns from an injury and Taylor will be hoping this opportunity will be the one he needs to get back to the type of form that saw him push for higher colors.

Coles comes in for injured hooker Motu Matu’u who will be replaced on the bench by Ash Dixon and Andre Taylor replaces James Marshal in the starting 15. Although these are the only changes to the team that one against the Highlanders two weeks ago there are a few other players who are still in doubt for this match.

Scrumhalf TJ Perenara and Captain Conrad Smith has been bracketed and will be replaced by Chris Smylie and Matt Proctor respectively if the fail to pass a fitness test. Alapati Leiua will move into the center position while proctor take his place on the wing.

The Hurricanes are on a run of good form, winning to big derby matches against the Crusaders and Highlanders, before just missing out against the Reds.

They will be hoping to take full points from this match against Super Rugby newcomers the Kings and move up from their 10th spot on the log.
