George Whitelock has been named to Captain the Crusaders against the Stormers in the absence of injured Kieran Read. Luke Whitelock come in to replace Read, to make that a Whitelock trio in the Crusaders forwards.

The Crusaders made three more changes to their team. Dan Carter decided to stay home for the birth of his first child and gets replaced by Tyler Bleyendaal.

Isreal Dagg returns to fullback after missing the game against the Kings and Tom Marshall moves into the wing in place of Zac Guilford, who had his first start of the season last week.

The Crsaders started the season of slowly, but came back with a strong victory over the Bulls two weeks ago and continued that form against the Kings last week.

They will be facing the Stormers in their first game of their South African tour without 3 key players though and will have to be at their absolute best to pull out a win against a Stormers team that has just beaten the table topping Brumbies and last years champions, the Chiefs.
