The Southern Kings seem to have solved their “foreign problem” and head to Wellington with a squad that passes muster with SARU, even if it took a bit of a hammering during its last outing in New Zealand.
Awaiting them is a Hurricanes outfit that hasn’t quite hit their straps yet this season, yet have done enough to remain in contention and will no doubt be looking for a big victory on home soil against the competition’s new boys.
For those brave souls who’ll get up early to watch, kick off is at 05h35 in the Republic.

Nice try to Sykes.
Good to see Waylon back in black. Pity it’s not Sharks black.
Parks of to hospital, hope his arm is not broken.
29-16 to Canes after 40. Sykes looking good.
Am I the only one awake and watching the kings?! or the only one on Sharksworld?
Kings can win this game if they stay calm.
Bad last 20 by kings cost them. Lions going to have a hard time getting back into super rugby if kings play like this.
Kings loose again. Score 46-30
Game was a lot closer than final score.
was sykes always this good? Kings seriously messing up my superbru…
🙄
got exactly the margin point hehehe thank you hurricans
George Whitehead has impressed me at fullback for the kings. Creative and fast, runs into space well.
Wonder if he’s any relation to Tim?
@CapeShark (Comment 13) : No relation at all, educated at the different Greys, Tim in PE and George in Bloem.
