  • Brynard Stander has scored The Sharks XV’s opening try, converted by Fred Zeilinga after Boland flyhalf Ricardo Croy had earlier sent his team into the lead with a long range penalty. S’bura Sithole has just scored the second try with 14 minutes up on the clock.

  • The Sharks XV go into half-time leading Boland 34-10. They have the bonus point thanks to tries from Stander (2), Sithole and Williams.

  • @robdylan (Comment 27) : Going to be hard for Plumtree to ignore Zeilinga for much longer. Either that or some other Union will snap him up.

  • @CapeShark (Comment 31) : how exactly is he ignoring him by playing the Bok flyhalf ahead of him?

Zeilinga is under 21. There’s nothing wrong with an under 21 playing Vodacom Cup rugby. They don’t all have to be rushed straight into Super Rugby the moment they have a few good games in a row.
