  • My advice to these guys – just go out and play. Don’t worry about winning or losing. Just try and play some good rugby.

The season is most likely shot anyway. The pressure is off.

  • Big score coming up.

No heart. No passion. Not playing as a team.

Heads have dropped already in the 12th minute.

    This team looks poorly coached.

    Season over. Again.

  • Plumtree and his assistants cannot survive 2 thrashings in a season – to the Brumbies and the Chiefs.

Even now, we have a line out on their line and we are driven back in the maul and lose possession. No guts. No heart.

    We need a clear out.

    Locks no grunt…
Loose trio…Deysel not been physical for some time…Minnie good but too soon to expect he do much straight into the trio…Mthembu skill and physicality not up to par for Super rugby…

Lambie the worst 10 of the 5 SA sides at the moment…

The 2 worst centres for the Sharks are playing together…

Not feeling good about this game…

  • Good fightback boys. And scoring 4 tries against a decent team has me bloody speechless

  • Keegan gambles on pulling a steal, he’s on his feet, it looks good. But the ref sees otherwise, awards the chiefs a penalty – and we are denied a bonus point. Tough luck Keegan – but it would have probably been better if he’d just let the ruck happen

  • Daniel must sit down and have a bit of a think. He cost us a bonus point by not taking the points with 7 minutes to go and then goes and offers the Chiefs a penalty on a silver platter after the hooter.

  • The Sharks need to be very concerned about their porous defence. They were also too indifferent (old Sharks habit). They need to be more switched on for the full 80.

Overall, this game was shaping up to be a record smashing, so it was good to see some fight from the Sharks for once. Some confidence and try scoring ability to take to Dunedin.

Stupid to lose the 2nd bonus point after the hooter. Very stoopid.

  • @rhineshark (Comment 202) : How this oke makes the team every week is beyond me – and every time I point that out – someone here says: “Oh, but you can’t buy that kind of experience”. HE’S SLOOOOOW. AND HIS HANDS ARE BAAADDDD.

  • The guys must now just carry on and play. The Sharks seem to be best when they play instinctive rugby.

But he probably should’ve just let it go… 2 points is twice as much as what we have now

  • @SharksRTB (Comment 228) : We will rue that bonus point come playoff time, although I have pretty much given up on making the playoffs. I think the Bulls will carry the SA flag this year

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 227) : And every year we say the EXACT same thing, yet nothing changes. I actually think we should fire all the coaches and just let the squad get together to decide how they’re going to play like one does when playing touch during big break at school.

  • @blesbeer (Comment 235) : Overall I would reckon Nanai-Williams.

For the Sharks difficult to say – Minie was good but Mtembu also played well for a period.

  • I agree… Toss-up between Minnie and Terra. Terra just buggered a couple of moves with poor passoing (or lack of it) but surely a breath of fresh air. Steyn also showed glimpses of form… All is not lost for the Saaaks.
