JJ Engelbrecht knocks Conrad Smith the hell out…
JJ has pace…
After Sergel Peterson, Habana and Basson…he must be the 4th fastest SA super rugby player…
I wonder if Habana is even half as fast as he used to be 2005/6/7
JJ faster than Rule and Aplon, Mvovo?
Bulls looking good!! Steyn the form flyhalf…not my fav player by a mile.
27-0 wow
The Bulls have one crucial quality that we seem to struggle with. Control.
Another thing…they win at Loftus. Home games so importend. Good pack of forwards. They have this one game plan that every player in the setup understands and believe in.
@DBOY (Comment 4) :
Oh yeh Aplon…
But he def faster than Mvovo…

JJ is faster than Vermaak and Vermaak has time and time again outsprinted Mvovo on the field…
Aplon top speed not that heavy…but he is soooo fast off the mark and that has to be added to speedsters cause that makes a bigger impact…
But Sergel Peterson seems to be the main speedster…he pulls a hammy every other week though…only bumber about him…but love how he plays…
Mvovo is faster thn Aplon. i remember a few time he hauled him in…remember 2010 Curriecup final?
what happened to Nokwe?
JJ has to be the Bok 13, I really rate this lad. Big, physical with pace but most importantly, he looks to attack space, not contact. Has a great step. My Bok centre pair would be the Bulls pair of Serfontein and JJ
I’d play Ebersohn at 12, but Jean will probably be retained at 12
@Ludz (Comment 14) : Ag no man, Ebersohn at 89kg will never make a test centre. He will be exposed. Jean had a great game this weekend and I have been all for moving on from the old boy but his performances in his last two outings will keep him in contention.
I’d select Serfontein and JJ as my Bok centres, with Jean on the bench
