It’s a quiet time, Sharks wise, so we thought we’d bring you a bit of good news regarding off-field activities. A current Shark – and a former one – both recently got engaged.
Hooker Kyle Cooper popped the question to girlfriend Shenee earlier in the week and the unfortunate girl was clearly so caught up in the moment that she unwittingly said “yes”. Saracens lock Alistair Hargreaves, who came through the Sharks ranks before opting to further his career abroad, did likewise with long-term sweetheart Carmen, with the same result.
We’d like to congratulate both couples and wish them all the best for what lies ahead.

When I saw the heading I had visions of Cooper and Hargreaves getting engaged to each other.
Anyway congrats to all concerned.
I sat behind a very proud Mrs Hargreaves years ago with Alistair’s first game for the Sharks in Durban and commented on this youngster in the team when she turned around and said, That’s my son! Sweet. Good luck to both of you.
@Salmonoid the Subtle (Comment 1) : I also had visions of a serious coming out of the closet moment there
Lol perverts. Congrats guys. Speaking of Alistair, with psdt out for three months. Looks like we screwed at locks again ay. Why did we allow sykes to go and entertain the baainaars??
@Salmonoid the Subtle (Comment 1) : That’s the vision I had as well
@Butchie34 (Comment 5) : dude – did you try to sign in with twitter yesterday?
I did… when I put my e-mail address in it said there was another user with the same email address registered.
Was gonna try again today to see if it was a momentary thing
@Butchie34 (Comment 7) : can you check two things for me…
1) Check to see that your twitter and sharksworld accounts use the same email
2) check twitter to see if your email address is marked as public.
I think you need to have both of those for the twitter login to “find” your account.
The other thing you can do is to manually link your profile here to your twitter account…. there’s a button to do that here.
In fact, that might just be easier.
@robdylan (Comment 8) : ja, that second option is easy-peasy. Just do that.
@robdylan (Comment 9) : Yip that second one works brilliantly.
@Butchie34 (Comment 10) : sweet. I deleted the other account that was created
@robdylan (Comment 11) : Thanks
