Dreams dashed in pieces. So much for that irritating bulls supporter sentiment: “the bulls know how to win finals rugby”

  • Bulls played well 2nd half. Scrums were a mess, sure. Proud of all the boys for making it this far after being written off by all experts beginning of the season.

But if I ever get my hands on dewald potgieter, I will not just swear at him like ludeke did, I promise you that.

  • What the hell was Dewald Potgieter thinking? Surely Steyn should have said they should rather take the points? Or are they all a bunch of mindless lemmings that will follow each other off cliff faces?

Putrid defense, questionable selections in the front ,second and back row and poor captaincy let them down. The Bulls epitomize what I love and hate about Springbok rugby. I love the fact that we are big and aggressive but I hate the fact that we are robots.

The Brumbies remind me of the Stormers ,their game plan is so similar ,just the Brumbies make use of fast line speed. The difference between us and the Ausies and Kiwis is that our players can’t attack if they have a game plan that is structured and well organised unless there is a set move. The ausies and kiwis 1-15 all have the ability to read the game better than us.

  • @Talent (Comment 64) : Well put – a perfect example of all that is wrong with the robotic brain dead Heyencke Meyer influenced approach to SA rugby.
For all his talent on attack JJ Engelbrecht is not a 13 – Conrad Smith is going to make him look stupid on defence just as he did to another talented, but out of position, player in Jaco Taute last year.

  • Not the result the bull’s wanted but probably the best result for south Africa in the long run. An extra weeks leave at this time of the season especially after all the injuries will help immensely

  • Very sad that we dont have a SA team in the final, though I must say, the Chiefs are probably handed the Cup this year yet again, as I don’t see the Bumbies making it after the travel they have to do.
