New Sharks utility back Hansie Graaff is in danger of missing out on next week’s Currie Cup opener against Griquas, according to Beeld’s Johann de Jager.
Graaff, who further reveals that he’s been brought in for the duration of the Currie Cup, primarily as a fullback option, recently underwent a scope due to water on the knee and will most likely need to spend the next fortnight on the sidelines, before hopefully making a Sharks debut against the Lions the following weekend.
The player, who has been released from a two-year contract with the Griffons to pursue his Sharks dream, will have the Currie Cup campaign to prove to the likes of John Smit and Brendan Venter that he deserves a spot in next year’s Super Rugby squad.

morning Rob. Do you know anything about Graaff? Do you rate him?
Aag nooit man! Let’s not start the CC with injuries again…
Is it not one of the other teams turn with injuries now?
We had enough throughout the SR tournament!

If I am correct he played for the cheetahs in that 7’s tournament in George and if his 7’s skills is anything to go by he could surprise some.
