Courtesy of the Sharks and SharkBite TV, we have Brendan Venter sharing some of his thoughts on the Sharks squad ahead of this years’s Currie Cup campaign.
Venter talks about Odwa Ndungane’s switch to fullback, as well as the unfortunate injury to S’bura Sithole.
He also gives a rare insight into what the likely Sharks starting team for weekend could look like.
Loose forward Brynard Stander comes in for particular praise from the new DoR, perhaps a good sign that he may be destined to play a big role in this year’s campaign.

The only thing that worries me is the talk of “they” and “them” and not “we” and “us”
@Butchie34 (Comment 1) : Wow! Are you fine? You’ve been in a bad mood all morning? The guy doesn’t like the spotlight too much, it’s a new role. Give him a break.
@GreatSharksays (Comment 2) : Having a bit of a bad morning.
I understand where he’s coming from but like I said it’s the only thing that worries me. Maybe he was talking from a point of view as in the past it has been…
Sorry I’m running on 2 hours sleep here. 😉
@Butchie34 (Comment 3) : Maybe you should stop running….a brisk walk will perhaps go better with 2hrs sleep?
@FireTheLooser (Comment 4) :
Dangerous to run with 2 hours sleep I agree.
Walking would be brilliant
😉
