The Cheetahs team to face the Bulls this weekend is unchanged from the team that beat Griquas last weekend.

The backline that did all the damage last week is unchanged with the explosive back three of Hennie Daniller, Riaan Smit and try scoring machine Raymond Rhule. Johann Sadie and Robert Ebersohn are forging a midfield combination which could be one of the best in the tournament.

The Cheetahs have also stuck with their best loose forward combination of Philip van der Walt, Lappies Labuschagne and Boom Prinsloo, the chief wrecker last week, scoring two tries.

The bench is also unchanged as coach Naka Drotske keeps faith in his team to travel to Loftus and pick up points.

Free State Cheetahs: 15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Riaan Smit, 13 Johann Sadie, 12 Robert Ebersohn, 11 Raymond Rhule, 10 Elgar Watts, 9 Sarel Pretorius, 8 Philip van der Walt, 7 Lappies Labuschagne, 6 Boom Prinsloo (captain), 5 Lood de Jager, 4 Teboho Mohoje, 3 Rossouw de Klerk, 2 Hercu Liebenberg, 1 Trevor Nyakane

Substitutes: 16 Ethienne Reynecke, 16 Wian du Preez, 18 Waltie Vermeulen, 19 Davon Raubenheimer, 20 Kevin Luiters, 21 Willie du Plessis, 22 Piet Lindeque

  • kind of frightening how many Sharks junior backs are playing for other teams in the Premier Division this year

  • I think the new administration has a more ‘open minded’ feeling to it, so chances are that more youngsters might be getting more chances sooner.
