We all knew it, but it is now official – Craig Burden has signed with French club Toulon.
Sport24.com reports that Burden has signed with the French team and could even make his debut in the Heineken Cup this weekend. Burden has been signed as cover for hooker Sebastien Bruno, who has been out injured.
We would like to wish Craig the best with his new adventure, having been beyond patient at the Sharks, playing behind the likes of John Smit and Bismarck du Plessis for many years. All the best Craig!

Is Toulan going to sign every rugby player? They have rediculous depth in that side. I def wouldnt like to see their wage bill! Its all well and good at clubs like that when their financial backers are getting a return on investment but when those financial backers decide to move on those clubs crumble as no players are loyal. But yeh all the best to Craig.
Good luck Craig, hope you get a lot of game time. Enjoy!
It is rather ridiculous – Burden is their 16th South African since the new President took over in 2008..
I’m happy for Craig, i always liked him. How much money has these ouens got????
All the best Craig. Hope your happy there. Thanks for being an outstanding player for the sharks
Very happy for Burden, going to be rubbing shoulders with some big boys of the game. Well done on cracking the nod and most of all enjoy it.
Good luck Craig all the best for your future at the new club.
