According to Rugby365, Bok centre Juan de Jongh has suffered a knee injury that will rule him out of action for around six weeks.
This will take him out of the selection frame for the Stormers’ opening Super Rugby fixtures, possibly including their Australasian tour.
Meanwhile, Schalk Burger will lead a somewhat experimental Stormers team – that doesn’t feature campaign captain Jean de Villiers – in a Super Rugby warmup against the Kings on Friday evening.

Really rate de allende as a center and if de jongh’s injury put him back in the midfield then its not all bad. It does put a lot of pressure on strms already thin back three….
Is it just me or does it seem like every year these warm up games produce more injuries, percentage wise, than normal super rugby games?

Some are just unlucky, but some are playing with injuries.

the stormers have never lived up to their talent and promises. Let us see if Alistar uses this as an excuse. I never heard plumb using it as an excuse
