50 up for Big Vic

Cell C Sharks loose forward Willem “Big Vic” Alberts will earn his 50th Vodacom Super Rugby cap for the team tomorrow when he take the field against the Hurricanes. Alberts earns his 87th career cap in the competition, having represented the Lions on 37 occasions prior to his move to Durban.

Also reaching Sharks cap milestones are props Beast Mtawarira and Jannie du Plessis, both amazingly earning their respective 90th Super Rugby caps for the team. Du Plessis also has 26 caps for the Cheetahs.

Right down at the other end of the scale, Paul Jordaan earns a 20th cap.

Congrats to Vic, Beast, Jannie and Tollie.
