Odwa Ndungane has been given compassionate leave by the Sharks, after his father passed away suddenly on Sunday.
Ndungane senior will have been a proud man on Saturday evening, after watching elder son Akona earn a 100th Super Rugby cap for the Bulls. Odwa, the younger twin, scored a cracker of a try in the game that followed and in the process took his own Super Rugby cap tally to 108. His passing, though, was unexpected and tragic and the Sharks winger will thus return to Umtata to be with his family this week and will not feature against the Reds on Saturday.
On behalf of the whole Sharksworld family, we’d like to extend our sincerest condolences to Odwa and the rest of the Ndunganes.

Sorry to hear Odwa. Condolences to you and your family.
