The Toyota Cheetahs have suffered a further injury setback, with inside center Frans Venter, who joined them from the Bulls at the start of the season, forced to return home from their New Zealand tour after hurting his shoulder.
The injury was sustained during the weekend’s disastrous reversal to the Hurricanes in Wellington, where the Cheetahs became the first side to concede 60 points in Super Rugby this year.
Griquas flyhalf Francois Brummer has been summoned to the tour party as replacement, while either Howard Mnisi or Rayno Benjamin is expected to take over from Venter in the number 12 jersey against the Blues this weekend.

Ma’a Nonu is back so who ever gets to wear that no12 Jersey better knows how to tackle
Just no end to their problems. The end of this tour just cant come quick enough for them I guess.
Surely Mnisi should walk the 12 spot, but trust Naka to cock that up and stick the average Benjamin in the mix
