Here’s an important announcement for Joburg/Pretoria-based fans of the Sharks, courtesy of their official Facebook page.
“The Cell C Sharks are going to be at Cell Cās head office for the opening of their walk-in customer care centre on the corner of Old Pretoria Road and Maxwell Drive this Friday. Come on down between 10 and 11 am and meet your heroes, get their autographs and take a photo with them. Believe in the power of black and white.”
Head on down to Cell C in Buccleugh on Friday to meet up with your heroes.

Wow, between Cell C and the sharks, they do make an effort to connect the fans and the players! Now if they would only do the same in CT when they play the stormers…
I must say that Vodacom and the Sharks are giving Cell C a lot of exposure.
I work in Joburg most days of the week at the moment but on Friday as luck would have it I’ll find myself on the opposite end of Gauteng š
I hope they have surprises for Sharks supporters “oppie platteland” somewhere in the near future. Even a Vodacom Cup game every now and then would be duly appreciated and I’m sure well supported. š„
I wore my new jersey on Sunday here in Pretoria and 3 people approached me to enquire as to where I got mine from. I bought it off Shark shiver. BLK marketing here sucks.
@KILLER SHARK (Comment 6) : I think you have to cut them a bit of slack as a brand new entrant into the local market.
Sharks are their first SA customer. They’re probably battling a little with establishing a supply chain into local retailers.
I hear you Rob. They do supply Total Sports but the amount of jerseys supplied must be about 5 per store. The local fans are pretty miffed. I had to wait a couple of weeks on mine as well. Must say the guys from Shark sliver were pretty good at taking the pressure put on them by BLK and worked overtime once they received stock eventually.
