Having enjoyed a much need bye this past weekend the battered and bruised DHL Stormers camp released an injury update as they prepare for this weekends fixture against the Lions at DHL Newlands.
Springbok prop Pat Cilliers and lock/flank Jurie van Vuuren have recovered fully and are available for selection while captain Jean de Villiers has also been given the green light to start. Schalk Burger and Cheslyn Kolbe did not participate in full training and will both undergo late fitness tests, Coetsee will be praying to every deity imaginable to that Burger starts as he provides a dependable line-out option, something sorely needed given his lock crisis.
Eben Etsebeth and Manual Carizza are only expected to be on the field sometime around mid may while Rynhardt Elstadt and De Kock Steenkamp will play no further part in this years competition.
Prop Oliver Kebble sat out training this morning due to a bump to the knee but will definitely be ready to play the weekend while hookers Scarra Ntubeni and Tiaan Liebenberg will only come into the selection frame after the Cheetahs game

Seriously: what are you guys doing to your players when nobody is looking? 😯
Think an update of who’s fine would be shorter ;-P
