The DHL Stormers have named their squad for the bottom of the log clash in Bloemfontein this weekend.

In a massive departure from the norm Allister Coetsee has named a team similar to the one  that spent a better part of last weekends game against the Lions on the field.

Devon Williams Vodacom Cup form sees him rewarded with a starting berth this weekend due to injury to Sailosi Tagicakibau, Williams made his debut off the bench last weekend and has been selected ahead of the fit again Kobus van Wyk.

Peter Grant and Jaco Taute will start at Flyhalf and Fullback respectively, positions they had to take up after a 3rd minute blow to the nose for Demitri Catrakilis (Grant had started at 15 with Taute on the bench) while the rest of the backline and pack remain unchanced.

On the bench Sikhumbuzo Notshe makes way for Schalk Burger, while Oliver Kebble also returns from to replace Pat Cilliers who did his knee a mischief. Kurt Coleman and Kobus van Wyk will be the backs that will keep Louis Schreuder company, while Brok Harris, Jurie van Vuuren and Stephen Coetsee complete the forward compliment.

  • Think they should beat Cheetahs after the moment they got this weekend.
