The Vodacom Bulls have made four changes to their starting lineup for this weekend’s clash against the Toyota Cheetahs at Loftus. Junior Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard starts in the number 10 shirt for the first time, with veteran Jacques-Louis Potgieter named on the bench.
In another change, William Small-Smith – a Junior Springbok captain a few years back – starts at outside centre in place of JJ Engelbrecht.
Callie Visagie returns at hooker, sending Bongi Mbonambi to the bench, while Marcel van der Merwe earns a rare start at tight head, ahead of stalwart Werner Kruger.
Vodacom Bulls – 15 Jürgen Visser, 14 Akona Ndungane, 13 William Small-Smith, 12 Jan Serfontein, 11 Bjorn Basson, 10 Handré Pollard, 9 Francois Hougaard, 8 Grant Hattingh, 7 Jacques du Plessis, 6 Jono Ross, 5 Victor Matfield (capt), 4 Paul Willemse, 3 Marcel van der Merwe, 2 Callie Visagie, 1 Dean Greyling.
Subs: 16 Bongi Mbonambi, 17 Morné Mellett, 18 Werner Kruger, 19 Jacques Engelbrecht, 20 Wimpie van der Walt, 21 Rudy Paige, 22 Jacques-Louis Potgieter, 23 JJ Engelbrecht.

Anyone seen the proposed model for 2016? Looks like absolute shite to be honest.
Best chance for the Cheetahs to beat the Bulls in Pta!!!!! Go Cheetahs (they are playing the Bulls ne?)!!!!
@David12246 (Comment 1) : its like they are out to ruin the competition and succeeding since it became a conference system. Unfortunately in no small part due to the petulant child that is SARU who insist on having 6 teams when 5 is too many.
@West Indies Cricket Board (Comment 3) : this year is clearly showing that SA can’t play 5 competitive teams in Super rugby and now they want to play 6?!?!?!?!
