  • @tigershark (Comment 8) : No Idea….but obviously serious enough to warrant him missing rest of the tour at least….

  • @Bokhoring (Comment 2) :
It is a big loss but I thought Keegan was particularly good at 6 on Friday as well.

  • @John Galt (Comment 10) : Keegan was awesome, but were gonna need an out and out fetcher

  • @West Indies Cricket Board (Comment 11) : Sharks do not have an out and out fetcher in the main group, only one on the books is a kid playing I think for Rovers that comes from the Free State, he however is still young and untested at the highest level.

Bissy and Deysel are the closest we have at fetching so do not expect anything to change there, Marcel as we know converted to fetching only this year.

  • @sharks_lover (Comment 12) : Marcel was doing pretty well this year – 12 turnovers won so far (as per the stats on sarugbymag). Keegan did well in the Rebels game (4 turnovers won), but then he also missed 5 tackles (something Marcel would never do).

  • @West Indies Cricket Board (Comment 11) :
He made 4 steals on Friday. He can play that fetcher role as well.

    6 Keegan
    7 Alberts
    8 Kanko

Still a great trio that. If they play Alberts at 7 that is.

Botes has played just about no rugby this year so chucking him in against the Brumbies wouldn’t be the wisest thing. He’ll play off the bench.

  • @John Galt (Comment 15) : @West Indies Cricket Board (Comment 16) : think he will go with Alberts at 4 and loosies will be Keegan, Deysel and Kanko with Tera on the bench.

  • Whenever Kanko and Keegan make up 2/3 of our loose trio, there is always a question of balance. I don’t think it would happen, but Deysel at 6 with Kanko at 8 and Alberts at 7 is a combination I like.

  • @lostfish (Comment 23) : Oosthuizen impressed me in his start against the Highlanders, he is a hard working 4 and I think will improve given the opportunity. I would have brought Peet Marais on the tour and had him on the bench, or Mtembu and Keegan on the bench and have both Alberts and Deysel cover 4 if needed. I am praying that Lewies can continue without injury, I am very impressed with the workload the young man has taken on, I believe he will push Pieter-Steph onto even greater things.

  • @Dancing Bear (Comment 24) : don’t think Lewies will be direct competition for PSDT, but they will play together with some of the other locks losing out.

  • @JD (Comment 25) : They are both 5 locks, I don’t see much chance of them being on the field together very often. We need a tighter playing lock to compliment either one of them.
