  • I will go out on a limb, and declare this morning’s Sharks vs. Saders game as THE pre-match inspiration video to be shown to any SA team playing overseas opposition.

Because when you look at that, there really isn’t any excuse good enough….all teams are now officially beatable, no matter the venue, no matter the ref – no excuses!

  • @FireTheLooser (Comment 7) : Sharks had a great game it I think the red card got them pissed off so they gelled into a close team that played on emotion and adrenalin. Still I do think they were a bit lucky if the ref was as bad as it seemed.

  • @KILLER SHARK (Comment 15) : aome good results for the Sharks today with the Saders, Force and Brumbies losing. Now only the Chief must lose next week.

  • @JD (Comment 10) : I can guarantee you that the Sharks didn’t win through luck….that was pure determination.

The Saders ended up losing by a relatively slim margin, that was luck on their side.

But this win was so unbelievable, it is understandable that folks are somewhat prone to looking at external influences swinging the game the Sharks’ way.

Fact is, the Saders got the one eyed officiating going their way all day long. Which makes this victory so much more unbelievable.

  • I’ll chalk this win, and the Streamers win, down next to the Sharks name this weekend.

Amazing the effect one amazingly unbelievable win has on the rest of the teams. Last week every team lost, even the Blitzbokke.

  • @FireTheLooser (Comment 18) : what I meant with “lucky” is maybe on another day the ref could have caused the Saders to win. Sharks players played superb to win against all adds and truly deserves all the praise for achieving the almost impossible!!!!! Great victory! !!!!!

  • @JD (Comment 29) : not bad as long as it is to groom Giggs into the next Ferguson , he is quite old already so should only be for a few years long enough for Giggs to pick up a few extra tips, overall much better than Moyes

  • @JD (Comment 28) : Yeah I’m sure the guys have the belief now that they can beat the Blues as well 😉

@JD (Comment 29) : I reckon that would be the right signing for us as Manager – he is experienced and has a decent record. I’m sure that they gonna try and keep Giggs there for future role as Manager. BUT they need to clear out a few of the “dead weight” that is not UTD standard – first to be let go is Cleverley – unfortunately Nani was given a new contract lol..

  • @JD (Comment 32) : at least he won some silver wear and one with a no name team, he actually has a impressive cv unlike Moyes who was appointed just because he was a Scott.

  • @RedSharkUtd82 (Comment 33) : @BR (Comment 34) : hope he does better than the last manager. And yes I also believe some “dead wood” needs to be cleared before my beloved Man United will win again.
