Still about 45min to go, who is with me π
will be flicking inbetween here and the lions
I am, won’t be posting, only reading. Am sitting in total darkness while nature is attempting to destroy the Cape…and my humour, with some success I might add.

@vanmartin (Comment 39) : Sharks are just defending, Kings full of running, even from deep inside their 22
Lions 14 – 10 Rebels
Franco off injured. Looks like his shoulder.
Edit: Oops. Wrong thread!
Game is under way, Kings continuing where they ended the 1st half
This Sharks XV side has no mojo. None.
@pierre_mackie (Comment 42) : Thanks for the updates! Enjoy the game!
Sounds like they could care less!!!!! Botes must be upset!
@robdylan (Comment 43) : Why do you think that is?
Kings replacement McDonald causing chaos, over in the corner, Gary misses,
Sharks 10 Kings 31 35 min
Sharks 10 Kings 31 45min
Sharks better have a good talking to at half-time and try to turn the tables around a bit in second half. There are good players in Sharks XV!

Maseko on the attack again, but tackled over the touch line and not releasing the ball

pity the game wasnt televised, very entertaining match, full of running rugby, can see Carlos’ influence
Thanks Pierre π
So yet another gutless showing from the Sharks XV?…Might as well revert back to the Wildebeeste, different name, same results π
Congrats to the Kings, that’s quite a score!
@JarsonX (Comment 82) : π
@FireTheLooser (Comment 83) : the Sharks didnt really have any ball to work with, and at times tried to convert to the Kings game plan, but didnt have good forward ball , Sharks were prob def for 60min and as soon as the game opened up they had no answers on def
They couldnt get any ball to Maseko and Nokwe, looked dangerous with the little they go and both scored.
Forwards were also abit lightweight, couldnt stop the driving maul from the lineout, and McDonald was causing havoc with his strong runnig
@pierre_mackie (Comment 87) : it’s a bit of a worry as some of these guys will be in the running for Currie cup squad and Super rugby next year.
No worries, Our B team.
I am very disappointed with the results. Most of these would be in our Currie Cup team (especially with the Bok commitments). If they canβt beat the queens in a friendly, how would they defend our Currie Cup?
@JarsonX (Comment 82) : Only a Pleasure . . . π
On a more serious note, I seriously hope we don`t have to rely on these guys to retain our Currie Cup . . .
Hopefully some Stormers and Bulls impress Heyneke this afternoon so he`ll drop some Sharks Bokke before the Tri Nations! π
@BluffShark (Comment 90) : the Kings played some good rugby, you cant play rugby if you dont have possession, and thats what the Kings did, they kept ball in hand and even ran from deep inside their own 22, suppose the Kings had more to prove
