Tiaan Liebenberg comes in at hooker for the injured Deon Fourie in the only change to the DHL Stormers starting side for this weekend’s clash against the Cell C Sharks. Already out of the running for any honours, further pooping on the Sharks’ party remains the only objective for Allister Coetzee’s side.
Young Stephan Coetzee, who came through pretty well the last time he was asked to front up to Bismarck du Plessis, comes onto the bench as replacement hooker in a squad that is again led by Bok flanker Schalk Burger.
DHL Stormers: 15 Jaco Taute, 14 Gio Aplon, 13 Sailosi Tagicakibau, 12 Juan de Jongh, 11 Cheslin Kolbe, 10 Kurt Coleman, 9 Nic Groom, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Schalk Burger (captain), 6 Nizaam Carr, 5 Ruan Botha, 4 Michael Rhodes, 3 Pat Cilliers, 2 Tiaan Liebenberg, 1 Alistair Vermaak.
Replacements: 16 Stephan Coetzee, 17 Sti Sithole, 18 Martin Dreyer, 19 Manuel Carizza, 20 Siya Kolisi, 21 Louis Schreuder, 22 Peter Grant, 23 Seabelo Senatla.

Enjoyed the objective line
Stormers set phases were very poor in 2nd half versus the Bulls, both lineouts and scrums we were under the cosh. Only way to win against the Sharks will be to get those areas right. Fair and dry weather expected.
@vanmartin (Comment 1) : pfft. I’ve never been particularly good at being objective anyway
@robdylan (Comment 3) : no problem I think objectivity is overrated. 😉
Not a bad starting 15 Sharks will need to step up if they don’t want their dreams to be pooped on.
@robdylan (Comment 3) : @JD (Comment 4) : You two do realise I was referring to this sentence: “Already out of the running for any honours, further pooping on the Sharks’ party remains the only objective for Allister Coetzee’s side.”
Or has the joke simply evolved beyond my comprehension?
