Ay shame Big VIC. Hope its not serious
Warren Whiteley call up to the Boks squad. Alberts won’t make the trip to Argentina
Big up for Whiteley!! I really rate him, he was fantastic in SR a great guy. Ay its true what they say, “Een man se dood, is ‘n ander man se dood”.
Two or three weeks rest will do him the worlds good.Then he can get back to what he does best.Collecting bones!!! 😀
GO BOKKE!!!!!
Aaaahh fuck now Pienaar’s there for life! 🙁
@Stiko85 (Comment 3) : Rather a big up to Meyer for not calling up Potgieter.
The Loftus surface is KAK!
Pollard not settled by a long shot.
Holy fuck Jannie duP is the worst forward in world rugby where defense is concerned.
And now for something completely different: We took a quick tap and almost scored.
Vermeulen is the only player playing well…
Willie playing decent…
everyone else poor….esp Ruan, Pollard, De Villiers and the entire front row…
Pollard replaced… Is he broken so soon?? lol
Bismark throw ins are poor…and the Arg guy has the same conditions so he cannot blame the conditions…
Donno why we persist with this front row…they not even good at super rugby level…
As much as i like Bizzy as a hooker…the best decision in the game so far to replace him….
@Stiko85 (comment 3) The saying is “een man se dood, is n ander man se brood”
Thank Jah this is Argentina.
@Hmmm (Comment 15) : Lol that’s what I said…. (In my head lol 😳 😳 😳 )
I actually don’t enjoy this competition enough to force myself to watch the rest of it.
My wife and kids are the big winners here.
Meyer’s golden boy completly fell apart against good oppisition.
I hope Lambie starts next week with Steyn on the bench and Pollard nowhere in sight preferably…but I can’t see it happening in reality.
Morne will start next week.
The sad part is…i donno if we have a answer at 10!!! Lambie was poor since he has come back from injury…Pollard nowhere and Steyn just never evolved….
We have flyhalf problems….i seriously hope someone wajes up and lifts there hands up….
@Stiko85 (Comment 17) : LoL
@SeanyJMc (Comment 20) : Oh no, the rain will be blamed…we know how it works, HM’s favorites will be given many chances to screw over the Boks…
Lambie will get a fair shot when we have a new coach….let’s hope HM realises that this rain is waiting for us in WC 2015.
That was aimless rugby.
@Hmmm (Comment 21) : I am yet to see Lambie fail as fh for the Boks….maybe he should be given equal opportunity to HM’s favorites to throw his chances away, thus far he’s being discarded on principle.
Sjoe…in the words of Kobus Wiese: that were not pretty!! 😆
Who would have thought that after round 1 of this comp the highest team score would be our 13!
@pastorshark (Comment 27) 😀
I wonder who’s call it was to not take the points.
Jean de Villiers?
If so, perhaps we need someone to fake him an injury after all.
Oh Captain, our Captain
next time, please use your brain.
Geez Jaco Peyper made some poor calls ib tha Aus NZ game. Some quite embarrassing but that’s not unexpected is it???
the ref who did the sa vs arg game was no better than pyper – i dare say probably worse
@KILLER SHARK (Comment 30) : Anything in particular you disagreed with? Thought it was refreshing that a ref finally had the courage to clamp down on NZ’s spoiling tactics. I know Oz might feel aggrieved for not winning a scrum penalty at the death but they were warned in the final minutes that he would not allow them to milk a penalty at the scrum because it was slippery underfoot.
@vanmartin (Comment 32) : I have to agree, I felt it was the teams who were just incredibly evenly matched and a bit rusty, not bad reffing.
That said they looked a hell of a lot better then we did, but that’s no surprise, just blame the rain, HM will.
Kaplan on the Aus vs NZ game: ” NZ were again guilty of marginal tactics under pressure .. Are the referees finally beginning to understand what needs to be done to eliminate this constant in their game when they come under pressure in their 22m area ?? Jaco Peyper made mistakes in this game no doubt , but needs credit for dishing out the cards when they were deserved . It engenders a whole lot of trust when the referee is prepared well , and is prepared to act.”
Peyper is an excellent referee. You can go and review the so called controversial calls, and invariably you will find he was correct.
The only thing in this game he might have missed was at the goal line ruck where Savea and Ashley-Cooper had both grounded the ball on the line.
A TMO review was probably in order.
As it was, the Aussies came away with an easy 3-pointer. Almost certainly a better outcome than the 5-m scrum for them.
@fyndraai (Comment 35) : @vanmartin (Comment 34) : @Seth101 (Comment 33) : @vanmartin (Comment 32) : I agree with you all,it was the first time ever a ref got to grips with the Cheats and look at how they started to buckle,funny that,JP must be praised for that,luckily for the Sheepshaggers it wasn’t Craig I never see a cheat cheat Joubert,hopefully JP approach will now spread to all other refs including Craig
@Seth101 (Comment 33) : their skill level,tic tacs where just on another level to the Boks
@benji (Comment 37) : and they also played in kak weather
@robdylan (Comment 18) : Good for them,in my book you only have two choices,spend proper time with them or root canal treatment,watching that kak is not
@robdylan (Comment 18) : ja same here, but must say wife is a bit confused by my lack of interest in rugby.
@JD (Comment 40) : Hahaha and knowing how the female mind works she probably thinks you up to know good or have lost it
@vanmartin (Comment 32) : a couple of things but my comment was set off by that attacking line out of Aus which he called scew after a good throw!
