We have a problem….

You’ve probably all noticed that we’ve been having some major instability issues with the site these past few days. I’m going to take the site down for an extended period tonight to try and fix them once and for all.

Apologies and thanks for your patience!

  • @robdylan (Comment 4) : I’ve noticed as I’m awake here a long time before you guys wake up on that side of the world. Also, what’s with all the captcha things checking if I’m a robot?

  • Why not use a local cloud provider like IS? Where are you experiencing issues front end (sessions) or backend DB ? Also you could ensure you get max iops for db by partitioning os pagefile app temp db and log files separately and using the high speed high end disk for temp db and logs and the rest on standard disk? Just guessing you are having a Sql disk performance issue since Sql does not play well with virtualization.
