We don’t yet have a full match report to go on, but we can confirm that young flyhalf Tristan Tedder once again spearheaded the UKZN Impi side to a significant Varsity Shield win in Pietermartizburg last night.
Tedder was voted “Player that Rocks” for a second week running as the mighty Impi defeated visiting Fort Hare by 61-10, scoring (we believe) no fewer than eight tries in the process. The win has done no end of good to the side’s chances of securing promotion at the end of the season as they are no well-entrenched on top of the log (with 13 points) and have added significantly to their points difference as well (now 70).
Closest rivals Wits are now seven points adrift of the Impi, but do have a game in hand.
A big well done to Tedder, along with captain Marius Louws, coaches Mike Horak and Dylan Campbell and all the rest of the Impi team.

Seems Tristan might end up providing Bosch with some tough competition. Not a bad thing that.
Well done Impi!
Fantastic effort from the boys.
@vanmartin (Comment 1) : Loving it! Both gents will be better for it
@vanmartin (Comment 1) : ja boet shows you everyone was just talking about Bosch and out of nowhere Tedder just produced two man of the match performances!!!!!!!
