No news is good news when it comes to injuries and in the case of the Sharks, I’m pleased to say there’s nothing to report after the opener against the Kings.
Speaking to the Mercury, Gary gold confirmed that the squad is looking fine. Willie le Roux came off as a precaution in the 60th minute due to a lower back complaint, while Lwazi Mvovo required some ice to a sore ankle.
Neither player is expected to miss Saturday’s clash against los Jaguares at Kings Park. The Sharks will announce their team for the clash on Thursday morning.

good news.can we start speculating about possible match 23 vs argies?
Really good news! How’s Lewies and Big Tom doing?
@JD (Comment 2) : thats what i was fishing for to hear 😀
@50shadesofshark (Comment 3) : I’m not good at fishing so I maar ask directly!! ;-P
@JD (Comment 4) : 😀 always the best way
@50shadesofshark (Comment 1) : speculate away.
I do not know whether Thomas or Stephan would be fit.
@robdylan (Comment 6) : but I’m sure you will find out during the week!?
@JD (Comment 7) : I’ll do me best
Eeeeexcellent…
Can anyone please remind me when does Robert du Preez’s contract with the Stormers end? That boy needs to come home. I still believe he has all the potential to be one of the best 12’s.
@GreatSharksays (Comment 10) : contracted till the end of this year.
Whose idea was it to trade Robert for Swiel anyway. Seems it was a bad trade.
@50shadesofshark (Comment 11) : Great that means we should get him home for Pre-Season.
@GreatSharksays (Comment 10) : I never thought of him as a 12, but that is a good idea. I’d like to see that happen.
He has got the starting spot for the Stormers, He won’t come back. If he does he will then have to compete with Lambie of the number 10.
@Hulk (Comment 12) : Rumours suggested that Jake White was responsible for the move
@50shadesofshark (Comment 11) : Great stuff…..family relations.
@GreatSharksays (Comment 15) : yes.sure the plan is to bring him back to the sharks.being able to play 10/12 opens up options,too.
@Sagroup (Comment 13) : lambie is at the moment on a 12 week recovery from injury.think the fact that his dad and twin brothers are at the sharks will override starting spot for stormers.
@robdylan (Comment 8) : thanx Rob I’m sure you always do!
@GreatSharksays (Comment 10) : @Hulk (Comment 12) : @vanmartin (Comment 14) : @Sagroup (Comment 13) : like Sagrouo said I can’t see him returning to Durbs before Pat leaves as currently he will get more game time there than at the Sharks. Also there’s lots of quality youngsters coming up so competition for the Sharks no10 jersey will be huge.
@50shadesofshark (Comment 17) : really don’t think family ties will override a startng spot. At the Stormers he will get Super rugby exposure and a chance to show Bok selectors what he can do. Really don’t think his dad would let him move back to Sharks to sit on the bench or play Currie cup qualifiers.
@JD (Comment 19) : sure we can find enough gametime to split between 2 no10 during sr season.at the moment lambie is recovering from an injury.dont want to go into how often he has been injured.rdp can play 12,too.

@50shadesofshark (Comment 22) : I know I’ve read the interview but must say I do think RdP snr are level headed and do what is best for both his son and the Sharks. I’m not against getting RdP jnr back at the Sharks but personally if he was my son I don’t think I’d have him moving back to the family home in Durbs just yet.
@JD (Comment 24) : ok,but my view is different 😀
@50shadesofshark (Comment 25) : must say it does not matter a whole lot how we feel it’s how Sharks, WP, RdP snr and RdP jnr feel that will ultimately result in where he plays. ;-P
