@Quintin (Comment 1) : I really hope April backs up his good performance with another one today! He seems to bring some much needed energy to the game.
Am i the only one who noticed the hurricanes player kneeing a sharks player
Well theres a good start from him
unlucky with the forward pass though. Very nice line break.
Robbed of a try
Sharks 3 – 0 Canes
@JarsonX (Comment 6) : 18mins
This ref is up my nose already
3 points each
@byron (Comment 8) : Mine too π
@byron (Comment 3) : I didn’t see it, who kneened who? π π
Canes dominating almost all facets of play
Canes try
Well, to me, it seems like we are creating the opportunities to score but we are just not finishing them. I’m sure we’ll be rewarded with tries sometime. PJ already standing with his hands ons his knees, guess the tour has taken more out of them than we thought.
It was off the ball as we got the turnover that lead to mvovos run
This ref is a real doos .. shocking how everything is in canes favour
Allready 4 shocking calls in this half
Theres another one… playing the ball on the ground when keegan stole it
So thats 5
@SharksRTB (Comment 16) : Not so sure about that statement. There were a few calls that should have gone our way, wouldn’t go as far as calling him as doos, yet
And the Mistakes just keep on coming, we should really focus on ball handling
Knock on in the scrum going backwards. Right in front of him
6
Pieterson try!
@JarsonX (Comment 21) : Awesome try
Halftime
Sharks 8 – 8 Canes
@JarsonX (Comment 22) : Conversion missed
Like I have said before on this site, KD is one of my favorite Sharks players I’ve had a chance to watch. He created that try.
Beast is trying to talk to the ref and he has a rebuttal every time. Maybe that’s from Beast’s meltdown in a previous game. But all of the 50/50 calls going the way of the hurricanes. Very frustrating
Great heart being shown by the Sharks….even with the ref feeling overly generous toward the Canes.
Ou scrum is owning theirs. Esterhuizen thus far my MVP – no amount of flash can out-do the work hΓͺ does on defense…monster.
Keagan Daniel and Andre Esterhuizen should swap positions . Daniel likes it open when he sees space so good for a forward
@SeanJeff (Comment 26) : Look, lets not be those guys that blame the ref and shit like that, yes there are surely calls we should have had in our favor, but we have also had a few handling mistakes( du Preezs again unfortunately) and unnecessary turnovers. But our defence is solid and we are showing our intent with our attack, although it’s not working out with our finishing. Lets hope they get it right in the 2nd.
Another JPP try
Converted
13 – 8 Sharks
@Quintin (Comment 25) : Mine as well
@JarsonX (Comment 31) : 15 – 8
Rob, you should try and get us a way to edit our comments when using the app π

Sometimes rugby’s a simple game. Win the bloody ball. Use it.
@JarsonX (Comment 47) : 20mins
Almost another try
Penalty Sharks, right in front of the poles
Opt for a scrum rather
Another penalty to The Sharks, still on the tryline
Another scrum
Dan du Preez try (no4) and possible bonus point
Converted
Sharks 32 – 8 Canes
What a game by the boys!!!! Awesome rugby!!! π
Much much better by the Sharks today
Canes try, bonus point gone
32 – 15
Boys are tired lots of replacements coming on now with 5mins remaining
@JarsonX (Comment 61) : Entire bench is now on
Sharks penalty on Canes’ tryline. Scrum again
Penalty again, another scrum π
Hooter goes
A few mistakes and we’re back in our own half
Thats it.
Sharks win without a bonus point.
Fulltime
32 – 15
If Jordaan popped it up lambie would have had the try. But what a game what an effort. Sharks not stopping for one second. The hunger is most definitely there. Great game boys I’m so proud!
@coolfusion (Comment 68) : Very proud.
Lambie is pure class. Seems like he was never away.
Coolfusion i think he did and it came off the hurricanes player … the ref missed it of course
@coolfusion (Comment 68) : @Ben (Comment 69) : must say I’m very glad they clicked just hope they can carry on!!!
@byron (Comment 71) : I thought that should have been a penalty try as Jordaan popped it up the Canes player definitely knocked it down meaning Lambie couldnt get it, the ref missed it.
Best Sharks performance i have seen under Gary Gold. I have been giving Esterhuizen stick but he had a great game. Keegan Daniel was pure class. Very impressed with April’s improvement as well.
@SheldonK (Comment 73) : The less said about the ref’s performance the better.
@Bokhoring (Comment 75) : I think we could just say he struggled…
