Some say this match is a waste and badly organised, some say its ridiculous to go so far for a single match, some say this Bok team isn’t a B team. All we know is it’s happening and it’s a match the Springboks would love to win. […]

Can South Africa win the Rugby World Cup?
The 2015 Rugby World Cup gets underway on 18th September and there are a number of sides that will fancy their chances ahead of the competition, which will be held across England and Wales. Stuart Lancaster’s men, New Zealand, Ireland and Australia have all been tipped for success and are likely to reach the latter stages of the tournament but South Africa could be the team to go all the way and lift the trophy on 31st October. […]

Four internationals strengthen Sharks
Gary Gold has made four changes to his starting pack for Saturday’s key clash against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein, with a quartet of test-hardened forwards brought in to shore up the pack that creaked badly against the Stormers at Newlands. […]

Three lessons from 2014
World Cup Contenders
–New Zealand, the defending champions have been formidable! They have lost just two tests (vs England and South Africa) since that glorious 2011 night in New Zealand. Its not too crazy to contemplate that as Steve Hansen has managed to get the men in black to take it up a notch. They even felt the need to bend the rules (wasn’t necessary after all) for the talented SBW. The depth in the side and the x-factor leaves much to be desired. Albeit, they may still capitulate and choke… […]
The Weekly Whinge
Having found myself completely disinterested in any form of rugby for most part of the year so far, my fingers started itching to put pen to paper, in the figurative sense of course, after watching some of the so-called rugby dished up over this past weekend. […]

Where to from here?
The Springboks have had one of their more successful seasons to date, having only lost twice to the All Blacks while beating Australia home and away, and keeping a clean record against Argentina in the Rugby Championship. That’s all great but what do we want to see from the Boks next? […]
