Its one of the biggest matches on the International calender, and it’s here. The All Blacks host the Springboks in one of the most anticipated games of the campaign. Will the Springboks pitch and make a game of this match? I’d make sure to watch this live. […]

Sharks 14 – 19 Crusaders. Can we agree on that?
I’m convinced, having read the comments here and elsewhere, that two different games took place at Kings Park on Saturday evening. I quite enjoyed the one I watched, but others, who clearly saw a different game, didn’t like it quite as much. […]

RWC Semi-Final 1: NZ vs SA
This is what World Cup Rugby is all about. Two teams facing each other in hat can only be described as a colossal match-up. It is finally here, Semi-Final 1 is upon us and the Boks have a massive match ahead of them if they are to compete for the elusive spot in the Final. […]

Three lessons from 2014
World Cup Contenders
–New Zealand, the defending champions have been formidable! They have lost just two tests (vs England and South Africa) since that glorious 2011 night in New Zealand. They are the benchmark and will definitely be the team to beat. I find comfort in the fact that no nation has ever defended their World Cup crown. Will they be the first to? Its not too crazy to contemplate that as Steve Hansen has managed to get the men in black to take it up a notch. They even felt the need to bend the rules (wasn’t necessary after all) for the talented SBW. The depth in the side and the x-factor leaves much to be desired. Albeit, they may still capitulate and choke… […]

Dream Bok?
Since the rugby season is drawing to a close I thought it would be interesting to take a look at the players on display in the upcoming tests and ask Santa for a gift for the Boks. It’ll never happen due to the IRB regulations but wouldn’t it be amazing to select a player from another country’s squad and put him in a Bok jersey? […]
IRB Player of the Year?
The 2013 International season is about to end with the end of year tours to come. This year has seen the All blacks continue their dominance in world rugby. Their only loss since clinching the World Cup was against an English side that was superior on the day, in 2012. They are in a class of their own. Two of their players are favorites to clinch the coveted award. Last year the award went to a New Zealander, Daniel Carter. The All Blacks have had five winners out of a possible twelve. They should make it six in 2013. […]
